Soul Circle Radio Mix Series Vol.7
Ian Ewing (Blvnt RecordsI USA)
@ianewingmke

I have been playing a lot of shows thus far this year and each one has provided me with a new wave of inspiration. The live atmospheres have been driving me to really seek out and explore new styles and sounds within my own productions as well as within other music I include in mixes. I wanted this mix for Soul Circle to represent that and be a blend of my chill/downtempo “home base” with some more lively and hard-hitting tunes that I have been really digging recently.

I’ve been making music to some extent since middle school, as the piano and drums were my introduction into the creative world. I began producing in college and it was really just a result of myself becoming more creatively literate and inspired but growing tired of having to rely on a band in order to create music. DJing became a necessary skill that I had to learn along the way, as I have been very blessed with opportunities to play shows. I am beyond thankful that both my electronic and acoustic passions have eventually found a place in my life, as I am actively producing for my solo project as well as using this electronic/DJ approach in a new band.

Big thanks to everyone who listens, I <3 youuu
