Kirk Paten aka Secluded Family is a regular selector on London's music scene, a purveyor of soulful house music, taking influence from 80's funk, disco, to deep, and afro lead sounds, Kirk has always maintained true to his soulful roots, and evolved with the ever changing dance floor tastes of the UK and abroad of the Secluded Family music collective .
The creative director and founder of the Pure Groove group, running various clubs and bars in the city of London, a DJ that has played across the capitals clubs and now residing at Blue Marlin in Ibiza & LDN. His Secluded Family & KS Paten production aliases have seen music released previously on Phonetic, as well as Data (MOS) and Fierce Angel.
Up on remix duty, are the excellent Tough Love, known for their bass-infused house music, they have released chart-topping singles like ‘So Freakin’, ‘Tight’ and ‘Pony (Jump on It)’. Their dynamic live sets, Kiss FM Radio Show, infectious production, and consistent radio play have earned them a loyal following and recognition by Beatport as the ‘Top House Act’.
‘What Have You Done’ is a nod to the old school, a fantastic cover version, engineered by Kirk & Tough Love with the excellent Natalie Good on vocals. Natalie has performed at a string of major UK festivals, featured on ITV’s the Voice, Netflix and BBC Introducing.
