They were...you could stay after hours at the bar if you were cool enough or maybe helped clean up. Free beers and maybe you could smoke inside if you wanted. Then the after hours at people's houses where anything goes, beers, weed, you name it. Now it seems like everyone goes to bed at 9pm even on the weekend.
