The picture for the mixtape is my old house where I lived in elementary school. It was taken today. None of the music on this dj set has anything to do with this house, however, the first record I ever played on my own was a Walter Cronkite 78rpm about dinosaurs, at this house. I had tribal wallpaper with lizards and other oddities that I picked out and, had reoccurring dreams about the world imploding. My favorite song was 'Rock this Town' by The Stray Cats. I watched a lot of Spiderman and A-Team and, cried and ran home on my first day of kindergarten. Our tree house was the Millennium Falcon and, my Dad built a BMX out of banana seat bike. I did call and response with my baby brother. I learned the word 'fuck' on my way home from school, got in my first fight, and smoked a cigarette here in this neighborhood. I skimmed through my first Playboy and played a lot of Atari. I built an igloo and ran away from home for a few minutes. Countless, other memories from this home included.
