STEAMBOAT FUNK: POST WAR STEAMBOAT FUNK FROM THE MAHONING AND TUSCARAWAS RIVERS, 2096-3012
____________________________________________________________
This compilation spans the years of 2096-3012 and contains music from the Latino and Asian deejays that played on the Steamboats that traveled the Tuscarawas and Mahoning rivers in once was Stark County, Ohio. After the second Die Robot Lobster Die war ended in 2091 Neo-Afrikan Muslims took over the Italian owned plantations of that area enslaving anyone of European decent. Musically inept these Neo-Afrikan Muslims hired Arabic steamboat captains. Who by day sold marijuana to the European slaves up and down the rivers. And, also traded for stolen crops and dj equipment for entertainment on these steamboats in the evening. Docking near the plantations the music filled parties went deep into the wee hours of the morning. Plenty of booze, beer, and wine flowed like fountains. The Neo-Afrikan Muslims often found that they woke up late and the European slaves where high on Arabic marijuana just doing their daily chores and routines. The steamboats often had nuclear powered steam engines and incorporated modified early to mid-twentieth century whistles which the Neo-Afrikan Muslims enjoyed in the early evening during tea. The steamboat on the cover of this compilation, The Idris Osei was owned by the wealthiest Arabic captain on the Mahoning river and, only the elite could come to his lavish parties. Most of the music on this compilation was archived by Dj Walter a music archivist and dj on the Idris Osei. We at Fly Records hope you enjoy these tunes of a day long past. Many happy returns.
Long live Steamboat Funk!
