The Rover
The year 2034 A.D. A woman leaves her window open after cleaning the house. She leaves for work and her dog jumps out of the first-floor window and into the street. Soon the local dog warden picks him up and takes him to the pound. When the woman comes home later that evening, she finds her pup gone. She immediately calls the pound out of intuition. The attendant at the dog warden’s office says she can pick him up in the morning. Late that night an evil scientist and his cult priestess kidnap the dog and perform a strange experiment on him. Transplanting his brain with the brain of a six-star general. They hope to start the Seventh Reich involving wolves from Hitler’s mescaline fueled writings. The woman goes to the dog warden the next day and they tell her there was a break in and she’ll have to contact the local police about her hound. She, loving the dog more than anything, goes straight to the police department and tells the tale of the abduction. She is scoffed at and told it’s just a dog. A young beat cop hears her tale and tells her he’ll help her out the best he can. This leads to nothing. The young officer is downtrodden and finds the woman buying a gun to hunt down the abductors. The cop tells her this is not the answer and vows to find her dog. The woman discourages gets advice to hire a pimp/assassin an acquaintance recommends. Soon the young cop, the pimp/assassin and, the woman are on a journey to find the abductors and the lost canine. Only ending up in eastern Montana finding a ceremony involving wolves and Nazis. The fight for everyone’s freedom begins.
