Let's talk about racism. I learned a lot about racism here in Canton, Ohio. I even said the word nigger. I have been looking at it deeply. Hell, I am here alone. My neighbor always talks about the native Hawaiians calling white people howlies (or however you spell it) he gestures to them being bad or bad assess. Let's look at rap music and white peoples place in it. They listen to it as though a song makes them a bad ass. Let's look at bad. Can someone listen to rap music, even gangster or evil rap music and not be bad? Kamasi Washington is a jazz saxophonist. He appeared on the new Run the Jewels album. But, he is a loving and cultured man. And, as far as I see it not a bad ass. The same white people who listen to hard core rap and feel they are tough or hardcore because, they listen to a song or artist are racist. And, at least in this town would call Kamasi Washington a fag or something derogatory. White people do not see the big picture. They go through life with a fear of being called a howlie or something else derogatory and in turn act bad thinking that all other races are some sort of bad ass. In turn creating a circle of racism. Based on a circle of racism created by the system that controls them, themselves. White people can identify with minorities that are fat or funny. But, when placed with someone of equal "intelligence" or talent they are dumbfounded and instantly start with the negative comments and actions. By listening to hardcore rap or something of the same element. White people must constantly compete to maintain a good that they think they created. Overlooking, anything that could uplift them beyond their own perverse power hungry mentality. Never allowing good to come from minorities but, glorifying the bad that they created over years of oppression. Catch my drift? (this is in a nutshell, to put into better words would take a long essay.)
