Well it’s about time for a Radio OwlsNest special! My brother in audio sound, Mike Rodriquez, lured by a bowl of fresh grapes, stopped on by the Owlsnest studio to join me on episode 12. A true sound renaissance man, Mike has been collaborating with me sonically from the days of “In the House of Stone and Light”. From the recording and touring of my first solo album, Mike has been a constant partner - helping me reinvent my home recording studios over the subsequent years, guiding me from analog recording into the digital domain. His expertise in everything audio has been a godsend to me... and on episode 12, we’ll investigate the unique partnership we have developed and shared over the many years. Mike came to me after touring with Stevie Wonder, and we immediately struck up a close lifetime friendship. Throughout all my following solo albums, Mike has been intimately involved in helping me create my technical sonic future landscapes.
