Hello all you gluttons for punishment - upon you here is the torture of episode 24. Gird your loins.. strap yourself in .. prepare to be entertained in the most undignified way. Rare demos from my dubious past, along with new songs from my notorious present, shall be trotted out in splendid madness. There’s quite a collection of eclectic tracks featured in this month’s episode. I’ll spin a song I wrote in the 90s - a precursor to the ‘In the House of Stone and Light’ album… when at last I was discovering my “artist’s” voice and foraging for my identity as a solo singer/performer.

We’ll visit the 80s when I worked with the majestic songwriter Clif Magness… penning a rocker for the movie Caddyshack 2. I’ll debut a track from my upcoming instrumental/ambient album and play a rare demo that was motivated by tragic circumstances occurring at my old secondary school back in England.

Bootsie, our existential feline philosopher, will solve the mystery surrounding a rural farmer who is plagued by crop circles… and supernatural cows. What more could you ask for?

And a truly rarefied demo is finally unleashed that brings my thoughts back to being bitten by ‘Lord Andrew’…. one of my loving cats, who most definitely left his mark upon me, jeopardizing one of my guitar playing fingers! So again I enquire - what more could you ask for?

Sanity? Oh no, you won’t get that!

Spread your wings ‘OwlHeads’ - talleyho! 🦉
