This message is a comparative study of rules and values and how they compliment one another. Values are powerful because they govern our lives. Rules are the vehicles for implementing biblical values. Jesus condemned rule-keeping that results in a disconnect from real values, but He never espoused disregarding the direct commandments of God, except in isolated cases where the value trumps the command.
