This week on Fresh Hop Cinema, get ready for all the feels as we tackle the newest film by Director David Lowery (Ain't Them Bodies Saints, Pete's Dragon); A Ghost Story and feature beers from El Segundo Brewing Co.
Inspired by an argument between Lowery and his wife, A Ghost Story explores themes of time, grief, mortality, and our capacity as human beings to contemplate them. While this deliberately slow work of cinematic art is certainly not for all audiences, those who are able to accept it's rhythm and settle in will surely be thankful for the ride.
