SERIES: Is he God of the Old Testament the same as the God of the New Testament?
The bible has five key covenants that God makes at different times in history. We will take a closer look at three of these. We will investigate to see why it seems at times that God changes his mind as he makes these different convents and come to see how although times change, God is still the same.
Part one: September 24: The Abrahamic Covenant:
The first covenant God makes is with Abraham. This was about pedigree. Are you a child of Abraham? If yes, then you get God’s blessing regardless of how you live. We don’t see the fire fall from heaven despite some terrible behavior from the sons of Abraham.
