Since 2019, the Manchester based label, Moments in Time, has had many strong releases, showcasing their commitment to signing upcoming local talent, as well as those more established names. Our second release for the year is from talented Italian artist, and Noss Label Founder, Denis Dekay, and it includes a remix from label boss,
Rudosa.
Denis Dekay’s creative process was driven by a combination of sonic exploration and a focus on strong, driving rhythms. Each track has a distinct character, yet they all share a common thread of powerful basslines and grooves.
"Don't Start the Fire" is centred around the use of gated pads, which create a sense of rhythmic tension. The strong grooves and reese bass add to the track's engaging energy. "Paradox 20" takes a different approach, with a focus on a strong acid line that adds a sense of urgency and intensity to the track. The powerful bass and grooves further enhance this feeling, creating a track that is both driving and hypnotic. "Sonic Devotion" is a more atmospheric and cinematic track, with a focus on cinematic pads and a huge reese bass. This combination of elements creates a sense of depth and emotion, making it a track that is both immersive and evocative. Adding more fuel to the fire, is an up tempo remix from none other than Rudosa!
