Tom Pederson, the CEO of Green Biscuit, hops on the podcast and talks to the boys about all things hockey. We break down his career, what it was like to go up the ranks in Minnesota, the USA roster he was a part of, playing against legends like Lemieux, Bure, how amazing of a player Mats Sundin is, and shares a couple legendary Gretzky stories. We get into the Green Biscuit and how that started to how it grew to the success it has today. The big question that led to the design of the Green Biscuit was this: how to reduce friction and vibration while moving over surfaces like concrete and asphalt. And the solution is what you see in the Green Biscuit: two pieces of plastic that are held apart by three metal bolts and rubber spacers between the pieces. This nifty little system works as a shock absorber to prevent the Green Biscuit from flipping over. The end result is what we believe is the off-ice hockey puck that best matches the feel of a puck on the ice. Check it out at greenbiscuit.com. Thanks to Tom for hopping on the pod!
