Rob Bellamy joins The Morning Skate and breaks down his hockey career and country music success. We start with what it was like growing up playing hockey with siblings and move on to travel teams and eventually UMaine. He lets us know what it was like to be drafted, how it was finding a role, playing with some decent talent like Giroux and Maroon. He talks about playing hockey in England, how he met our guy Joey Diamond and when he started strumming the guitar. After learning how to play guitar his senior year in college, Rob knew that he had an immense passion for music, which led to him eventually moving to Nashville and songwriting. He lets us know what it’s like to record a song, to play in front of people and whats next for him.
