Seja talks to Olivia Bartley (Olympia) about deeply immersing herself in the writing process for her second album, isolating herself for 12 months, creating a ten point achievement plan/hypothesis and the trials and errors of getting to the finished product. Olivia tells Seja about working with producer Burke Reid again, her goal to make her audience levitate and utilising visual diaries to create her own world. They discuss her vocal style, synthesizers, how her dad’s taste in music influenced her formative musical years and what it’s like playing in other people’s bands as opposed to doing your own projects.
