Description

Seja talks to her guest Holly Throsby about how she started playing guitar as a child after finding one on the street, being inspired by the movie La Bamba, and the concurrent learning of guitar and coffee drinking. Holly tells Seja about her first songs, her creative school mates, how she got signed to Spunk Records and the fortuitous international tour supports she received through the label. They chat about her band Seeker Lover Keeper, her two novels Goodwood and Cedar Valley, her writing and planning process for both songwriting and prose, and her experiences with stage fright.

Holly’s strange show story was illustrated by Vanessa Norlander (@ness_noralander) and can be seen on Instagram @hearsejpodcast or on the HearSej Facebook page.
