God’s Knowledge
Four things concerning God’s knowledge:
1.God's Knowledge Is Immeasurable (vv. 16)
2.God's Knowledge Is Instructional (v. 5)
3.God's Knowledge Is Individual (vv. 2a-4)
4.God's Knowledge Is Inspirational (vv. 5-6, 23 24)
GOD'S KNOWLEDGE IMMEASURABLE (Vs. 1 6)
1.Unlimited in what He knows
•Omniscience
omni all; science knowledge
•Immediate, comprehensive, without deterioration
•Job 37:16
Perfect knowledge
•Do you know how the clouds are balanced, Those wondrous works of Him who is
perfect in knowledge? (Elihu)
•Isaiah 40:14
lacking nothing
•With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, And taught Him in the
path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of
understanding?
God's omniscience is opposed to the false doctrine of open theism
2.GOD'S KNOWLEDGE INSTRUCTIONAL (Vs. 5)
Psalm 139:5 NASB You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid
Your hand upon me.
Psalm 139:5 NLT You both precede and follow me. You place your
hand of blessing on my head.

You uniquely refers to God.
2.God reveals some of His knowledge to us
3.God’s knowledge seen in past, present and future
4.Accuracy of prophesy displays God’s knowledge of future

Conclusion
Three Application Points:
1.God knows the worst about us
our sinfulness, weakness,
brokenness
2.God knows the best about us
our motives, desire for Him
3.God knows our potential
we are His workmanship
Rom 8:29-31 NKJV For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to
be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn
among many brethren. (30) Moreover whom He predestined, these
He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom
He justified, these He also glorified. (31) What then shall we say to
these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
