John 20:30-31 ESV
John 20:30 – Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book
Disciples witnessed His signs
Signs = “distinguishing marks” – tied to miracles or wonders
Signs - indicated that He is the Son of God, the One sent from God
1 John 1:1-3
Why John Wrote… John 20:31
First – that you may believe –
Not to just information for your head, but truth for your heart
Believe what?
Jesus is the Christ
Jesus is the Son of God
Secondly – that by believing, you may have life
Not physical life
Eternal life, abundant life
Believe – Have Life!
John 3:16-18, Acts 16:30-31
