WHAT IS A PROVERB?
A proverb is a short sentence that people often quote, which gives advice or tells you something about life.
WHAT IS A BIBLICAL PROVERB?
A biblical proverb can be defined as "a short saying that expresses a general truth for practical, godly living." The Bible describes proverbs as "sayings of the wise" (Proverbs 24:23).
