Cole Watkins from the Tastemakers episodes came by to discuss a strange movie he is fascinated by, The Man From Earth (you can watch it on Amazon Prime). I was unfamiliar with this one but I watched it and we discussed its merits here. It's essentially about a college professor who is leaving town and decides to tell his colleagues that he's been alive for a VERY long time.
This one is kind of 2 episodes in one. After discussing the movie we moved onto other topics and it got pretty free-ranging from there. The 2nd part starts at about 51:15 if you'd just like to listen to that part.
I'm hoping to do more episodes like this with the Tastemakers guys where we focus on one topic and have a longer discussion about it.
