Sometimes if we're playing around something dangerous, we need to be warned. And these warnings are for our protection. God does this as well. He warns us of the worst dangers to us, and at the top of the list is serving false gods who can't love us. We will discover once again that the God of the Scriptures is the ONLY God worth serving.
