Dekat are three friends putting out music from Jakarta, Indonesia. It is hard to fit Dekat within one genre. They're part hip-hop, part electronic, and part pop. The members of Dekat were once in the popular band Tangga from Indonesia. Now, they put out music independent of a major label, and they're focused on the music, rather than image, label, or popularity.
