Joe Henley is a Canadian writer living in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a free-lance journalist who has reported about bare knuckle fighting in Myanmar, the drug trade/war in the Philippines, and a host of other interesting topics. Joe is also a novelist, documentary writer, and avid music fan. We talked about his life and work, and we discussed the punk/metal subculture in Taipei.
