Dean Leslie is a South-African documentary film maker, covering subjects in the world of sports and the outdoors. His film, Thabang, was part of the Banff Film Festival tour, and it was how I first discovered Dean. His films cover interesting topics like Mira Rai - the child soldier turned professional runner, a mountain religion in Japan, running in Antartica, and much more.
