Jeff Higgs is a local artist/writer from Wilmington who has published over
30 short stories in online magazines such as Contrary Magazine, Literary Stories and
Black Elephant and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
His stories typically focus on life from the perspective of a black American to
create a greater understanding between racial, ethnic, and religious groups in America.
