In a hot seller’s market like we’ve been
experiencing in Barrie recently, just about everyone who
puts the For Sale sign on their lawn can expect to receive
more than one offer for their home.
When that happens, it can be a bit overwhelming for you,
so here’s a quick rundown at how this process goes.
A realtor will usually pick one day and time to present the
offers to you, all of which are first registered with the
brokerage. Realtors representing potential buyers can
present them in person or by email/fax. All the registered
offers will be brought to you, regardless of their price.
You can then sit down with your Realtor to sift through the
offers,
The one thing to keep in mind when it comes to multiple
offers is, you are in complete control. You don’t have to
accept any of the offers, and you should never be
pressured by anyone to accept anything.
