Description

Hear a complete interview with Mike Burke, a former legislative aide and EPA program officer. The interview is part of an unfolding collection of stories from prominent environmentalists in the state of Maryland, recorded in 2019-20, and supported by the Town Creek Foundation.

In this conversation, conducted by Genevieve de Mahy in collaboration with the Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture, Mike talks about working across the aisle to draft and implement Chesapeake Bay policies. "The whole story of the Chesapeake Bay restoration is putting together the right partnerships, getting the right players engaged . . ." He calls it "the politics of possible."
