The song was written by Joe Sadot in 1974 in Columbus, Ohio. The song was taught to Vic Sadot not long after that time. Joe died in 1978 of an aneurism. This song was recently recorded in Berkeley, CA by Vic Sadot and Eric Golub for Vic's next album to be released. Lyrics follow! There is also a French version posted as "Lori - French".
