Usually at this point in the year I start these blurbs with something like "kicking in 20xx with some heavy hitting bangers yo!" Alas, this January we're taking it slow. Get ready for a low-tempo house trip with hints of disco, acid, analogue jams, faux-ethnic appropriation and what have you. Certainly a mixed bag, but in my time DJ sets weren't about repeating the same groove for 2 hours.
