I believe Kenya is home to the greatest talents the world has to see from the sports field, academics and to music as well. A large chunk of Kenyan music however received little airplay because they cant be readily termed as club music. however i believe that we have so much beautiful music that many people never get to experience.
When i made this mix, i wanted to share some of the amazing music I've fallen in love with over time coming from the 254 that never gets a chance to be played in clubs or mainstream radio but is exception in quality. I also wanted to offer a timeless mix that you can get tired off anytime soon. Expect amazing talent from the budding, Kalekye Mumo, Kiu, Anto Neo Soul to established acts like Sauti Sol, Just a Band and Wendy Kimani. I'd have wished to play many more but many of these songs don't have videos. However if you feel I missed out on someone please leave a comment with who else you want to see
