Is Jesus seemingly asleep in your boat? It is because He knows the outcome
Not every storm you face is to destroy you – some storms makes you discover who you really are. Luke 10:30-37
He was on the roadside
He couldn’t treat his own wounds
The Samaritan poured OIL and WINE in his wounds
The wine represents the Word of God
The oil represents the Presence of God
Time does not heal any wound – it only amplifies your current situation/mindset
When God heals, why doesn’t He heal the scars?
1 Samuel 17:34-37
Your scars will testify for you
It was David’s scars that put him in front of the giant
The Bible is our Spiritual Fly Swatter
It has dual purpose
Speaking the Word of God – the Fly Swatter
Reading the Word of God – Insect repellant
The devil knows the Bible
1 Timothy 3:5 – The devil frequently uses Scripture to tempt us
Knowing the Scripture better will strengthen our spiritual immune system
The more your struggle violates your conscience and makes you feel unworthy to walk the path God has put down for you, the closer you are to your defining moment
Don’t let your scars weigh you down – don’t be ashamed of your scars
It wasn’t Jesus’ words that made Him our savior – it was His scars
Don’t let temptation lead you away from your defining moment
