With WNPV signing off the air on April 30, the coverage of high school football in the Bux-Mont region that had been around for 60 years on 1440-AM went away. On this two part podcast, we remember the moments that made the coverage award winning and the WNPV-Intelligencer Scoreboard Show a part of the Bucks and Montgomery COunty landscapes in the fall. Joining us on Part I was former Neshaminy coach Mark Schmidt, North Penn head coach Dick Beck, Souderton head coach Ed Gallagher, Quakertown head coach George Banas and the writers of the Intelligencer, who helped the show for the past 20 seasons.
