Dear Covid-19,
Because I could not step outside, outside stepped inside of me
My body shook and coughed and sneezed
I’ve no immunity
Dear Covid-19,
At first it was cool to be kept off of school
It was like a vacation before the arrival of June
But I missed my fourteenth birthday
I I’ve seen everything on iTunes and Netflix
Dear Covid-19,
I was walking as lonely as I could
When all at once I saw a crowd
People gathered in one place
Each one of them should be arrested
Dear Covid-19,
You stand in our way
I say you should disappear from this planet
We should fight
We should fight this terrible monster
Dear Covid-19,
You may push us
But you won’t knock us down
