Cyber threats to U.S. economic and national security are increasing in frequency, scale, sophistication, and severity of impact. State and non-state actors conducting cyber espionage are targeting U.S.government, military, and commercial networks on a daily basis. Public and private sector organizations are seeking greater understanding into this threat environment in order to adequately defend critical networks, and intellectual property. Cyber intelligence can provide organizations with critical insight into an adversary's intentions, capabilities and activities, as well as the geopolitical environment, enabling executive leadership to make informed cyber security decisions. Panelists discussed the elements and importance of an integrated cyber intelligence strategy.
