About the Speaker:
Luke M. Perez is an Assistant Professor in the School of Civic and Economic Thought at Arizona State University. His scholarship examines religion, ethics, and US national security. He was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri. A fourth-generation native of California, he attended The Ohio State University and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a 12-year veteran of the Air National Guard.
