On December 2, 2014, Dr. Marek Jan Chodakiewicz gave a lecture on the topic of "Intermarium in song, thought, and action: Belarus, Ukraine, and Hungary." Specifically, he discussed the growing popularity of the Intermarium vision in Hungary and the post-Soviet successor states of Belarus and Ukraine as expressed in songs, ideas, and actions.
Dr. Chodakiewicz, the holder of the Kościuszko Chair of Polish Studies at The Institute of World Politics, is the author of "Intermarium: The Land between the Black and Baltic Seas" (Piscataway, NJ: Transaction Publishers, 2012) and a leading American expert on the history and current affairs of Central and Eastern Europe.
