Yvonne a recognized thought leader in how to maintain relevancy in a rapidly changing world. Her impact has earned her recognition as WSJ Woman of Note, Silicon Valley Woman of Influence and the Boardlist Top 20. Her passion is partnering with leading companies to grow their businesses leveraging technology, agile leadership and diverse teams. Yvonne also is a vocal advocate for the growing interdependence of technology and diversity.
Currently, Yvonne is the Chief Information Officer at New Relic, a digital intelligence platform company. She joined New Relic to prepare the company for its IPO and subsequently has led key growth initiatives contributing to more than doubling revenues within 2 years. Previously, Yvonne held multiple leadership positions at VMware, scaling the company from $2B to $6B. Yvonne began her career as a software engineer at Accenture, where she held a variety of leadership roles over 17 years.
Yvonne serves on the Board of Directors for Bitium, where she advises the cloud-based identity platform provider on technology trends and go-to-market expansion opportunities; the Board of Trustees for Harvey Mudd College, a premier engineering, science and mathematics college in the United States, and on the Board of Directors for the Athena Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of diversity in the boardroom.
Yvonne is the proud mother of 3 kids and many pets. She is also an avid traveler and uses her experiences abroad to deepen her understanding of human interaction and experience.
