Description

Ashanti and Dalia hold a focus group discussion with women and girls in advance of launching a social and behavior change communications campaign. They gather their feedback as part of their design process to ensure they’re addressing harmful social norms in a way that women and girls want.

In this episode, the focus is on Standard 13 of The Inter-Agency Minimum Standards for Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies Programming, that “GBV programming addresses harmful social norms and systemic gender inequality in a manner that is accountable to women and girls.”

The Gender-Based Violence Minimum Standards Mini-Series is presented by International Rescue Committee, and hosted on the Women’s Protection and Empowerment podcast.
