A miser and the kafir have a similar trait. A contemptible punishment is waiting for them.
Difference between miserly (bakhil) and avarice (shuh). Both, a destructive sin.
Be warned the traps of insincere deeds.
"Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى does not do injustice as much as an atom's weight, while if there is a good deed. He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great immense reward." (4:40)
