The danger of pride:
Pride repels the descent of Divine Mercy. Rain only settles on low lands, not mountain peaks. Similarly, the Mercy falls off the hearts of the arrogant and it descends upon the hearts of the humble.
Abu Darda رضي الله عنه: “Do not hate the person doing the sin, hate the sin”.
Hasan Ibn Ali رضي الله عنهم said that his beloved grandfather, The Messenger ﷺ never locked doors behind him, sat on the Earth, made himself always available to the people.
Daood (a.s) entered the Masjid and saw a circle of Israelite destitutes. He (a.s) sat with them and said: “A destitute amongst destitutes”.
