Speaking the truth
Never to pain the pious
Keep the company of the pious
To ponder upon what one is sending into the next life.
If the recording Angels demanded money for their scribing we would quit useless talk (Malik ibn DinaarΒ (rah) Ibn Asaakir).
A believer should safeguard his tongue more than his private parts (Abu Nu'aym).
The most beloved deed to Allah SWT is the guarding of one's tongue (Baihaqi).
Prophet Adam (as) said, When Allah SWT The Almighty sent me (as) to this world from Him Proximity (Paradise) He SWT took this promise from me, 'Speak less to the extent that you once more return to My Proximity' (ibn Adee).
