Indie Games come in a wide variety - from games with more dice then you could ever need to games played in the dark or without a GM. But as well as there being different technical aspects to indie games, there also tends to be a different mindset. The psychology of inhabiting characters and working through aspects of your real life can be its own form of therapy.
