It's becoming more popular to use this word, to recognize trauma and the resources that are becoming more available, and to even throw it around casually. This isn't a blanket issue; not all EMS personnel and veterans are drowning in PTSD and trauma. Because of the nature of individual human experience it looks so different person to person.
