Legendary sound system owner and producer FATHER STAR from AFRICAN STAR pulled up to the Entertainment Report Podcast studio for an EPICCC conversation about his career in the entertainment business.
Father Star spoke growing up in Jamaica, hanging out with Welton Irie, moving to Canada at 16, building African Star sound system in Canada, Sister Nancy introducing him to Early B, Super Cat and Nicodemus, moving African Star to Jamaica in the 80's, Ninja Man, Shabba Ranks and Beenie Man being on the sound and African Star beating Silver Hawk in a sound clash.
Father Star also spoke about discovering, managing, producing and getting Capleton signed to Def Jam Records. He also spoke about meeting and producing young acts like Sizzla, Louie Culture, Jah Cure, Pan Head, Baby Wayne, Anthony B and sooooo much more.
