Singer, songwriter and Bass Player extraordinaire WORMBASS formerly of Blaze Band pulled up to the Entertainment Report Podcast for an EPICCCC and in-depth conversation about his career and the music industry. Wormbass spoke about growing up in St. Thomas as a Christian, singing in church, becoming interested in playing the bass and idolizing Derrick Barnett from Sagittarius Band. He spoke about working the hotel scene in Montego Bay as a musician that lead long term gigs in Japan and Mexico.
Wormbass also spoke about joining a band called Original Heat which later turned to Blaze Band and back Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Lady Saw, Sanchez and Junior Tucker. Blaze Band became Beenie Man's permanent backing band for over 8 years from 1992 until the early 2000's.
Wormbass also worked for Explorer Records as a producer for many years, produced his album "Reggae Man", joining Inna Di Yard collective and soooooo much more.
