Singer, songwriter, actor and founding member of British Reggae band Aswad, Brinsley Forde pulled up to the Entertainment Report Podcast for an EPICCC and in-depth conversation about his lengthy career.
Brinsley Forde spoke about growing up in England, acting in Here Comes The Double Deckers and The Magnificent 6 And A Half as a child, a chance meeting with Peter Tosh the changed his life, the original members of Aswad, Burning Spears Live At The Rainbow album, meeting the late Princess Diana, the cult classic 'Babylon' the movie, a funny Prince story and the so called rivalry with Steel Pulse.
Mr Forde also spoke about his time around The Wailers, proud moment with Bob Marley, the passing of Drummie Zeb, reason he stepped back from Aswad and cutting his dreadlocks. He also gave us the back story of Aswad smash hits like Don't Turn Around, Smile, Shine and Give A Little Love.
