Once you are able to discover what you are passionate about and develop your passion for various things, then you are able to lead a life that is more fun. Anything that you do will come off as more authentic, more interesting and people will pay you more money for whatever you are selling. That is the benefit of passion.

Most people do not have the passion in their life that they are looking for. Every 10 people that I know only one person is leading a life where he is following his passion.

Why am I talking about this? It is because I have coached hundreds of people in business, entrepreneurship, self-development. This is a question that I get over and over, because it is very important according to all kinds of news articles, books about success.

How do you find your passion?

Let’s reframe that and look at it in a different way. The traditional way is that you need to go out and look around and try little things to see what you are passionate about. Once you find what you are passionate about, then you are in the land of glory and everything works out and people throw money at you and so on.

Unfortunately, that not how it works. In order to find your passion you need to develop it. To get passionate about something you need to invest time, energy and usually even money into it. Once you start getting good feedback you become even more passionate about it.

What is passion? Passion for me is when I get up in the morning and I am super energetic and eager to work on something. Whereas if I am it is kind of a grind and I do not want really to do it. But if I am passionate I am like “Let’s go do it right now.”

You cannot be passionate about something 24/7. This is a common misconception that people have for being passionate about something. That is why I do not try to rely so much on the passion. When I am implementing something and when I am working on something, it needs to be done no matter what.

If you want to be passionate about building a business or getting a new hobby or learning something new, then your whole life is pure disaster and you want to focus only on this. What happens is that you are not going to have all the energy, your body is not going to feel good. You are not going to be able to focus on it, because you do not setup your life to work together with what you want to do.

You are not able to experience good emotions, you are not able to wake up and feel good, because your life is not setup that way.

I wake up every day almost the same time. I eat at the same time. I go to the gym at the same time. I travel a lot and I do not lead a boring life. But a lot of the things that I do are scheduled and they happen at the same time.

When we do everything that is scheduled and make everything into good habits, then we are able to allocate a lot of the mental RAM and get our energy towards something that we are passionate about. Then you are able to create awesome consistency.

Awesome consistency and positive feedback from your environment, that leads to passion.

I would like to focus on things that build my passion, but not in direct way. I make it so that the passion is a side product of the consistency and the momentum that I am building and the stability of my life and at the same time I am learning new interesting things and feeding them into my passion.

I have been passionate for 8 years consistently about entrepreneurship. Everything that I do I feed into this passion. All of the things that I do like relaxing, going to the gym and so on help me when I get back to work, because I have more energy to put into my passion.

If you build your life like that it gives you purpose and people can sense it and will gravitate towards you. I highly recommend using the same techniques.
