Everyone is saying they're making $1,000,000...

Yet they're staying in hostels when they're "Traveling the world".
#showmenottellme

Here's the real truth though:
Me, my entrepreneur friends and mastermind members meet entrepreneurs all over the world.

The guys who are actually making money are RARE AND FAR IN BETWEEN.... Compared to the all-talk guys.

A mentor caught me talking a big game once (he's in a whole other league, different universe...) and he told me something interesting:
"Cool, so how much money are you going to contribute to my charity.. oh that's all? Interesting."

Boy was my face red.

Does this all mean there aren't that many successful entrepreneurs?
No, there's just too many people building an ego around the whole thing instead of getting work done.

Then there's the real billionaires and millionaires: they're quietly running their business, keeping their money invested and living an active life...

Rarely do you see rolexes on instagram, lamorghinis on youtube and big talk on entrepreneurship forums...

You'll hear about them, not from them, how successful they are.
What are your thoughts on the whole "show off your wealth" and "I'm talking a big game so I'm real" thing on social media?

Everyone in social media is saying that they are making a million dollars and run a successful passive income business. In reality, those people cannot afford to have an average meal at a restaurant.

It is very easy to look good on Instagram, Facebook. You can show exactly what you want people to see and hide all the hard work that gets you some of the results that you are getting. In other words, you do not show what is behind the scenes. You show only what other people want to see.

I and my mastermind members are travelling the world a lot and we know that the really successful entrepreneurs and business owners are very rare. It is a very common thing that people are just talking, but when it comes time to action it’s really lacking. They do not protect what they have shown with action.

Many people are showing very expensive stuff that they have bought for themselves on Instagram and they are trying to impress their audience by showing their fantastic lifestyle. You can see how many people wear very expensive Rolex watches, going on expensive holidays, but there is absolutely no guarantee if that watch is real or not and how often they go on holiday. There is no action behind their words.

There are a lot of really successful people in their 20s and their 30s. The actual successful business owners are not showing their wealth as much. They keep most of their wealth in their business. They are not spending it on stuff that does not provide a return on investment. They are just working quietly in the background on the business.

Those people are not doing employee work and hustling 100 hours per week. They are working on the business and not in the business.

How can you tell that someone is really successful in his business and he is not just talking?

You are going to hear about them and not from them. If you hear someone to talk about himself too much and to praise himself too much, to show his Rolex, that means that this guy is not as successful as he claims.

If you hear from someone about someone else, those people are most likely to be legitimate. Do not be super critical, but be aware that it is very easy to look more successful than you actually are. It is very easy to show just a few days from your week or month and not show the other days where you hustle like an employee.

If you see a community of people who are talking about someone, that is a real sign that this is a legit guy and his wealth is real.
