Kicking off our semester-long Encounter talk series Prophet, Priest, King, Dr. Sarah Denny Lorio is a bioethicist, speaker and podcast host. Obtaining her PhD from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome, she has worked as an ethicist with the National Catholic Bioethics Center, taught at both the high school and college levels, and served as campus minister at LSU.
She currently runs a business and hosts the podcast "What Women Are" where she integrates philosophy, biology and theology to answers some of the most pressing questions posed by women and men of the Church today.
